Would Jesus slit the throat 
    of the sacrificial lamb?
  not So needed 
for the mythic last supper 
Troubled by wading through 
  the sanctified temple
   ankle deep
     in all that  kosher blood 
   Seeping down to 
    Hezekiah’s Tunnel
  the strange lie
  In his raging  
  was only 
 to tip over 
money changers tables 

Another plan in mind 
Star of beauty Star of night

Winter 
 and deep in our 
   transcendent souls
We yearn for peace with all beings 
   Deflect your 
     knowledge of suffering, and yet
   It remains suffering
