Seasoned rhymes all wrong

There, over there 
  is the discharged souls
They eat what’s left behind 
   corpses now
Horses livers raw, 
  odorous awful, rare
  Our lost desires
 swirled in the glare 

False colors
Quaker Shaker into 
  the pouring light faker
All are washed in the 
  blood of the lamb,
    setting polished sun of night as
  Banjos begin to twang

All hail grandma’s chicken 
 Can’t reap what you don’t sow 
All dance 
   with the devil in the middle 
Time to go, go, go
    where the monsters grow

Jimmy crack corn 
   with roast on the spittle
Sunset  on the money,  fun
      Justice funny, funny as a riddle
 Soon we’ll all be gone
    cum
         … spent

Sing a hey ho, whatta you know
    The angels love to scorn
Perfect lives of broken dreams
     Promises unborn

Grandpa’s secret 
   Dancing on the rim
Beggars crimson bowl 
   snakes writhe 
with a rattle and a roll 
   waiting just to strike 
 Yes a Hey ho, coiled in the middle
Pining with the riddle 
     of a black and broken soul
   
Give me liberty or give me death
   Screaming, unborn scythe 
Oh lord Moloch
   wrapped those tentacle tight 
Around this listless tepid child 
mourn of endless night

Bright light shining with hope
   that always burns the eyes 
Kite flight, monkey in the shade
   Of those who can not see 
Promise broken, money made
      of thee I sing
  Our shining city 
     by Lucifer’s fiddle
Sol tasto then flautando 
    still screeching 
      out of tune

As Touchstone’s grinning 
   from the bottom of the well
singing softly

Spring brings
The woodpecker rattle
as the beak slams oh so near
     Streams of  winter bugs 
reduced to chattel 
  Bark, the ancient tree
the edge of the abyss of time 
   scurrying in fear 

Sing
Time and greed 
   and schemes and such
  eradicate the illusory 
    Boulevard of Dreams
    the rhyme … and reason
   has been long lost 
     and seen to fade away 
      to uncertain memories arrhythmias lost joy 
    life’s nonsense on parade 
      the proximate charade
        desire on the fade

Spring  drying into Summer 
Death keeping time’s memory 
Broken stalk
Dried flower
Autumn wind 
Winter takes all
