Was it a fault of my eye?
A pin point light floating 
 Across the bedroom wall
          or
a quantum collapse 
  a radiant black hole 
   a gateway to the multiverse 
     a glitch in the simulation?

After a few seconds 
    meandering leisurely 
     10 feet away across the space
    at the foot of the bed
  it slowly dissipates 
 Into the void, again unseen

A faint memory, smell of 
    my late mother’s cooking  
      also gone
