The Light that shines 
from the beginning of time
your name is unspoken
as above 
so below 
your love and compassion 
waits for us

We treasure the nourishment 
as we strive to remain 
honest and true
forgiving and inclusive 

Let us keep within our sphere
and have patience for those who ,
often ourselves, 
selfish and self absorbed , 
Disturb our inner peace

Guide us away from 
lack of self-control 
in everyday situations
Give us 
tolerance and compassion 
to help those 
who have lost their true selves 

There are truly wayward things
Shadows
in this world 
that need your 
enlightenment 
to avoid 

Though your radiance 
cannot be seen 
It surrounds us all for eternity 

Shadows can move faster 
than the speed of light
but they are nothing

Without light
There would be no shadows 
Only Darkness 

Blessed are we 
bathed in your ever present,
too often,
unseen and unappreciated
